The UTA Art in Transit program brings visual art into the transit system to engage the community and enhance the rider experience. Public art helps strengthen connections to transit, adds character to stations and bus shelters across the Wasatch Front, and reflects the communities UTA serves.

Bus Rapid Transit Station Artwork Projects
Artwork is featured at many UTA rail and bus rapid transit (BRT) stations. The Art in Transit station program gives communities the opportunity to bring neighborhood character into the transit system through partnerships with artists, creating welcoming and engaging environments for riders and community members.
OGX Station Artwork
OGX station art was installed in 2023 in partnership with the Ogden City Arts Department, Ogden City, Weber County RAMP, Weber State University, and Intermountain Healthcare. Public art installations are located at each of the 13 stations along the OGX line.

MVX Station Artwork
MVX station art was installed in 2026 in partnership with Murray City, Taylorsville City, West Valley City, and Salt Lake Community College.
Adopt-a-Stop Program
The UTA Adopt-a-Stop Program offers community members and organizations a proactive way to help keep local bus stops safe, clean, and welcoming. Participants can make a meaningful impact by adopting a stop, with opportunities that may include adding artwork to adopted bus shelters.

My BeUTAHful Community Student Art Competition
The My BeUTAHful Community Student Art Competition occurs every 2 years and invites K–12 student artists from across Utah to participate. Held every other year during odd-numbered years, the program showcases winning artwork throughout the community on UTA stops, vehicles, and other transit locations.
